The Dog Parking FacilityTM Dog Tether Holder consists of a patented leash retention hook attached to a mounting plate that can be firmly attached to any suitable surface, such as a brick wall. The diagram shows how the loop handle of the lanyard should be guided through the hook so that it is held by a cross-member in the shape of a cow horn. Removing the leash is very simple and consists in lifting the loop of the leash over the element bent in the shape of "cow horns".

Because there are no springs or spring-actuated "latches", the device can be operated with one hand – an advantage for anyone walking a small child or carrying a shopping bag full in the other hand. Since there are no springs in the device, it also makes it easier for people to operate
disabled, e.g. arthritis patients.

A specific application of the device is the use of a veterinary practice in the premises, where the presence of two or three pieces of the device at the reception will allow owners to tie up their dogs when making payments or obtaining information from the clinic staff - writing a check or signing other documents can be very difficult if it is also necessary to control the animal on a leash!

All metal parts, including mounting screws, are made of stainless steel, and the mounting plate has been covered with stove varnish to make the entire device durable and resistant to damage. Each of the brackets is supplied complete with screws, plugs and assembly instructions.
